该片翻拍自2006年上映的同名日本电影，讲述罹患罕见疾病——XP色素性干皮症的女主因为皮肤不能接受阳光照射，否则将出现生命危险。从此白天与之无缘，只能终日躲在家中，唯一的乐趣也只是趁着夜晚踱到车站广场唱着自己喜爱的歌。在这一过程中，女主渐渐喜欢上时常路过车站的冲浪男孩的爱情故事。
