好像一切都很糟糕

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 七年很痒

　　Golf Club经理潘致文(刘青云饰)与老婆张美瑛(蒋怡饰)结婚将近七年，生活平淡、枯燥，虽然他渴望着过过“放荡的新生活”，但是天性胆小，只敢说不敢做，基本上是一个善良的小男人。　　这一次美瑛要去外地旅行，潘致文觉得这是个大好机会，于是决定趁这个“婚姻大假”找寻一些刺激。抚慰自己强压六年多的欲海。　　夜晚在PUB中，致文就邂逅了冶艳少女赵静(应采儿饰)，令到他心痒难忍。正当致文准备向阿静展开攻势的时候，却在相处中了解到她原来身世相当凄惨，放荡的行为只是因为孤寂的逆反，致文怜悯之心大增，无奈中不得不放弃了占有的欲念。　　而与此同时，致文又遇上了自己的初恋情人张采冰(刘嘉玲饰)，已经成为事业女性的阿冰目前生活无忧，身边男伴无数，并且和一个健身教练WIL(安志杰饰)关系暧昧。但是外表热情似火的她对于致文依旧念念不忘，致文立刻与冰重燃了爱火，但同时也觉得对妻子心存愧疚。然而此时此刻家庭的危机也渐渐发生了出人意料的变化……
