Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 东京少女

　　《东京少年》的姊妹篇，同样以“无法有结果的恋情”为主题。　　2008年的东京少女未步（夏帆 饰）的梦想是成为一名奇幻小说家，这天和母亲以及母亲的情人在餐厅用餐，对母亲准备再婚一事十分排斥的未步愤而离席。　　1912年，宫田时次郎（佐野和真 饰）再次被夏目漱石退稿，缺乏生活经验的他写作出来的小说缺乏打动人心的力量。他沮丧地拿着退稿离开出版社。　　突然发生地震，站立不稳的未步失手掉了手机，从楼梯坠入连接过去与未来的虫洞，被时次郎拾得。　　不可思议地，相隔几近一百年的两个人，由误会到了解，渐渐情愫暗生，彼此倾诉生活中遭遇的问题，还异时空约会。但是身处未来的未步总是知道历史的发生，而当她想改变时，却发现一切只是无能为力。但是即便不能改变命运，也仍有真爱留低。

与神对谈

　　虽然是三次面谈之旅，但我觉得三次否认叫Peter更合适；08,20-08,22FathomEvents,电影大概只有90分钟，后附30分钟interview分享一些信仰心得，恍然间有点以为看到了TheSunsetLimited(2011)的感觉，电影不合情理得把神实化（降临），但又很合乎情理的在分享Paul的见证，所以最后interview有个问题是为何上帝没有启示我，这个问题答案就是：先求他的国和他的义，然后你才能见证他的神迹。
